Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
In line with Prime Minister’s vision of providing low cost housing for the people of Pakistan. FIEDMC has linked up its labor complex with Prime Minister’s Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme. FIEDMC has identified 4 different sites for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and 10,000 Labor cum management apartments will be constructed for the workers of FIEDMC Special Economic Zones.
Clean & Green Pakistan
In line with Clean & Green Pakistan Campaign, FIEDMC has linked up its Special Economic Zones with Government’s effort to provide safe and clean work environment. FIEDMC has started Planting 100,000 trees per year in its Industrial parks. 500,000 trees are going to be planted in next 5 years to make pollution free and Green SEZ’s.
Technical Education and Skill Development
For youth skill empowerment, Chief Minister Punjab has initiated “Hunarmand Nojwan” Program. FIEDMC has lesioned with TEVTA, PVTC and Fuji Foundation. A state of the art Technical and Vocational University has been planned at M-3 Industrial City on 28 Acres of land. The youth of the city will be empowered with latest technical skills keeping in view the industry skill demand. Keeping in view the Chinese Investments in FIEDMC Special Economic Zones, Chinese language courses has been introduced.
Labor Shuttle Service
FIEDMC is 35 Kms away from City Center. In order to provide cost effective transportation to workers, reduce pressure of heavy busses on the roads and efficient utilization of railway tracks, a Labor Shuttle Service has been planned. FIEDMC Special Economic Zone is located on main railway track, the major labor catchment areas are located along the railway track and connected through 6 railway stations.
